Talks are underway in Ashgabat between the heads of the state-owned concerns Turkmengaz and Turkmennebit with Viktor Nikitin, Head of Business Development at BASF Intertrade AG. The company, representing the interests of the German chemical leader headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, confirmed its intention to expand its technological presence in the Turkmen market.

The parties expressed their willingness to expand mutually beneficial ties and expressed a strong interest in deepening cooperation in the oil and gas industry.

A new stage of cooperation could include the implementation of the patented OASE® technology, which enables the most efficient purification of natural gas while reducing energy costs and environmental impact. In addition to equipment supplies, BASF Intertrade AG is ready to offer Ashgabat comprehensive service support, personnel training, and consulting services for new large-scale projects for the deep processing of hydrocarbons into finished products with high added value.
