For the first time, the popular vocal talent show "X-factor" starts in Uzbekistan. The first episode will be shown on FTV channel on September 24, the Uzbek press reports.
The musical project "X-factor" is held in more than 55 countries around the world. The show has long become a platform for discovering new talents and world-class stars. The official rights to adapt the international format of "The X Factor" in the local market of Uzbekistan were acquired from the British company "Freemantle Media" by the FTV channel, owned by the IA "UzReport". Castings for the show were held in the five largest cities of the country - Samarkand, Namangan, Bukhara, Khorezm and Tashkent, in which about 6 thousand people participated. After several stages of selection, 12 vocalists will take the stage and continue the battle for the right to be called the best performer of Uzbekistan on the live show.
The fate of new talents will be decided by the audience by voting for their favorite performer. The contestant with the most votes will
continue on the show. The winner of the Uzbek project will receive the title of the best performer in the country, monetary rewards, information support and rotation of songs on the air of the FTV channel.
