Chinese New Year Chinese New YearThe Embassy of Turkmenistan in Italy plans to hold a presentation of the first collection of poems by Magtymguly Pyragy in Italian. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Turkmen government for Culture and Mass Media Mahrijemal Mammedova during her visit to Italy, the MFA of Turkmenistan reports.
At the same time, during the official meetings, the prospects of building up humanitarian partnership between the countries were discussed, including through the organization of exhibitions of artifacts and values of the material and spiritual culture of the Turkmen people in museums in Italy.
Also, a representative delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Chairman M.Mammedova held talks with Italian colleagues on holding joint events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the celebration of the great poet Magtymguly Pyragy in 2024.
Earlier, it was reported about the meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister with the Italian Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano.
