Within the framework of the "Academy of Preventive Diplomacy" project, a training "Interaction of the European Union with the Central Asian region" was organized at the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Ashgabat.
Representatives of the European Union presented to the Academy participants the structure of the EU, the specifics of interaction with the Union, its priority areas of activity, as well as ongoing projects that cover various industries.
Particular emphasis was placed on partnership with Central Asian countries, in particular the EU Strategy in Central Asia. The document lays a new political foundation for the EU's cooperation with the Central Asian countries in the coming years. The strategy is aimed at ensuring sustainability, prosperity and regional cooperation in Central Asia.
