CNPC International Ltd. in Turkmenistan Opens Tender for Gas Leak Detection Services
China National Petroleum Corporation International Ltd., a branch of China National Petroleum Corporation in Turkmenistan, has opened tender No. CIT-26019-SR for the provision of services to detect gas leaks in couplings and defects in tubing during downhole operations in the Bagtyyarlyk Contract Area in 2026–2029.
According to the tender terms, these services will be used primarily during the running of the tubing string with underground well completion equipment on the drilling rig.
The contractor must provide the necessary equipment, a base camp, qualified personnel, and tools to detect gas leaks in tubing couplings using helium. Non-destructive flaw detection of tubing is also included in gas fields with high hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide contents.
Participation Requirements
Interested companies must:
-submit an official application indicating the tender number and title, the participant's full name, legal status, country of registration, and bank details;
-obtain an invoice for the transfer of funds for the receipt of tender documentation (ITB);
-provide a copy of the company representative's passport, a copy of the general power of attorney authorizing the receipt of tender documentation, and a copy of the money transfer confirmation.
The application submission deadline is seven calendar days—from May 19, 2026, to May 25, 2026, inclusive. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
