Turkmenistan has launched preparations for its participation in the globally significant GREEN×EXPO 2027 International Gardening Exhibition, which will be held in Yokohama, Japan, from March 19 to September 26, 2027. The plan for ensuring a high-quality national exhibition, presented by Deputy Prime Minister Nokerguly Atagulyev, was approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a Cabinet meeting on Friday, May 15.

This prestigious exhibition, organized under the motto "Landscape of the Future for Happiness," will bring together approximately 80 countries and is expected to attract over 15 million visitors. Under the patronage of Crown Prince Akishino of Japan, the exhibition will span 100 hectares and present the concept of five thematic spaces—from Urban GX, featuring green technologies of the future, to zones for traditional crafts.

Turkmenistan, with its unique experience in creating flourishing oases and parklands in arid climates, plans to amaze the international community with its innovative landscape solutions and contribution to the global ecosystem.

The head of state emphasized the importance of the country's integration into international environmental platforms and instructed relevant agencies to ensure the flawless organization of the Turkmen pavilion.
