Land Rover, Primark, and Cambridge: Turkmenistan Expands Business Partnership in London
On the very first day of the "UK–Turkmenistan B2B Exchange" trade mission, Land Rover, Primark, the University of Cambridge, UKTAG, and Advantix Ltd joined the Turkmen delegation in negotiations. Each of these organisations expressed substantive interest in specific areas of cooperation, spanning the automotive and textile sectors, agricultural technology, tourism, and education.
Land Rover is exploring opportunities to enter the country's automotive market; Primark is examining potential partnerships in the textile industry; UKTAG is presenting agro-industrial technologies; Advantix Ltd is focused on developing the tourism sector; and the University of Cambridge is considering collaboration in education. Active discussions with each of these organisations are already underway as part of the mission's business matchmaking programme.
On 12 May, the Turkmen delegation attended UK Construction Week London 2026, the UK’s largest construction event, held at ExCeL London from 12 to 14 May.
The show unites six specialised sectors, including Construction Technology and AI, Modular Construction, Solar Energy and Energy Storage Systems, and this year features over 600 exhibitors, 700 speakers, and around 25,000 participants. The visit gives the Turkmen side direct access to advanced construction technologies, materials, and potential partners in a key economic sector.
