National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty (People's Council), Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan, located in the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains near Ashgabat. The Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty was provided with detailed information on the pace of the radical modernization currently underway at the facility, which meets modern requirements and high international standards.

A key focus was the high technology and digitalization of the complex's processes. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the horse sculpture at the central entrance, decorative fences, and landscaping, providing recommendations on the quality of construction materials and their aesthetic design.

The National Leader inspected the roadworks on the access road. This road's construction utilizes an advanced construction method: the road surface consists of ten layers, and the materials used meet international standards for quality and durability. It was emphasized that such materials are being used in road construction for the first time in the region. This method not only ensures the road surface's durability but also allows for the effective collection and drainage of sediment along its edges, which is a best practice.

After making recommendations on the complex's development and a number of comments, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov headed to the spectator stand, where he emphasized the need to create comfortable conditions for equestrian enthusiasts.

A key feature of the Akhal-Teke complex's modernization is its digital approach to workflow management. The indoor stable is being designed with all necessary conditions, including ventilation, feeding, and watering, all managed digitally. Equipment for regular health monitoring of the horses is also being installed. Thanks to artificial intelligence, all data will be consolidated in a single digital center.

The complex's tracks, including the indoor arena, are made of sand from the Turkmen steppes. Special additives moisten the sand from below, ensuring the necessary compactness for the horses' comfortable movement. The arena's fences and structures are equipped with elastic materials to prevent damage to the horses' hooves and shins. During this visit, the National Leader of the Turkmen people also addressed a number of recommendations on the active application of best practices and new technologies in construction and finishing work to Deryageldi Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan. This is important for continuing work on the second phase of the Arkadag development in accordance with current realities and best international practices.
