IOGU students showcase their talents at creative competition dedicated to Victory Day
On April 30, the university stage of the creative competition “Happy Heroes of the New Era of a Powerful State” was held at the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev. The event, dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day, brought together the most talented students of the university. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The creative contest, organized jointly by the Ministry of Education and the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, included artistic presentations of socially significant professions, performances of songs and poems reflecting the courage and spiritual resilience of Turkmen youth, as well as a final stage in national costumes, where participants competed in performing jokes and humorous stories. Each stage of the competition was aimed at revealing the creative potential and high moral qualities of the modern generation.
According to the jury’s evaluation, the winner of the university stage was Mammet Toyryev, a fifth-year student of the Faculty of Energy and Engineering Structures. His performance most vividly reflected the values and traditions inherent in the noble image of a Turkmen youth.
Such initiatives contribute to the creative self-realization of young people and the preservation of the country’s cultural heritage. For students, participation in such competitions is an important step toward taking part in national talent reviews and developing professional confidence.
