The Turkmen capital's cultural calendar will soon be marked by a special event. At a Cabinet of Ministers meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bahar Seyidova reported on preparations for the TURKSOY Opera Days, which will be held in Ashgabat this May. The festivities will culminate in an opera concert dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of composer Veli Mukhadov, the patriarch of Turkmen classical music.

Turkmenistan's collaboration with TURKSOY has become a shared creative laboratory: here, the legacy of the past is carefully crafted to inspire the modern generation and resonate with listeners worldwide.

Veli Mukhadov's name represents an entire era in Turkmen culture. The composer, who succeeded in combining the epic power of folk tales with the sophistication of classical opera, left behind a legacy that resonates more than ever today. The upcoming concert will be not only a tribute to the master's memory, but also a professional showcase of the finest voices capable of conveying the full depth of his scores.

The holding of the TURKSOY Opera Days in Ashgabat confirms Turkmenistan's status as an important center of humanitarian attraction. Leading soloists from member countries of the International Organization of Turkic Culture are scheduled to participate in the festival, transforming the capital's stage into a platform for unique intercultural dialogue.

The goal of these meetings is not only to demonstrate vocal mastery but also to pass on spiritual experience to future generations. After all, music, according to the organization's experts, is the shortest path to understanding the history and soul of a people.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, summing up the report, emphasized the importance of the cultural vector in the country's international policy. The head of state ordered the highest level of preparation, noting that the May celebrations, organized jointly with TURKSOY, should become a vibrant celebration of art, emphasizing the inextricable link between times and the continuity of creative generations.
