Development of Turkmen–Tajik trade and economic cooperation was discussed in Dushanbe
On April 15, 2026, a meeting was held in Dushanbe between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan, A. Gochmyradov, and the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, Farhodshoh Rahmonali.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, emphasizing the traditionally friendly and good-neighborly nature of relations between the two countries.
Special attention was paid to enhancing practical cooperation, including the organization of business forums and exhibitions, the exchange of business delegations, and the establishment of trade houses in both countries.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in increasing trade turnover, expanding investment cooperation, and developing transport and logistics connections.
