Smoking or not smoking – antinicotine effort comes to a new level

It would be no mistake to say that with the using of electronic cigarette or e-cigarette or, as it is sometimes called vaping, antismoking effort has reached a new level. In spite of the fact that modern e-cigarettes were invented relatively recently, their global use has risen exponentially. As a result, their use is widespread, and accordingly, a huge market has formed.
E-cigarette advocates believe that, unlike tobacco cigarettes, vaping is healthier than smoking. E-cigarette works by heating a liquid to generate an aerosol, commonly called a “vapor” that the user inhales. The liquid in the e-cigarette is usually made of nicotine.
Which one – e-cigarette or tobacco cigarette – has much health effects we can still discuss. Nevertheless, one thing is certain: electronic cigarettes and traditional cigarettes are two different things. Moreover, in this regard, a number of states suggest separating of legal regulation of the turnover of electronic cigarettes and other similar products.
So, the leading manufacturers of cigarettes agreed fully with this. Of course, they stand for ideas that e-cigarettes should not be sold to non-adults; advertising should be much targeted, etc.
At the same time, they believe that regulation of the turnover of electronic cigarettes should be based on facts and data confirming e-cigarettes less harmful than tobacco cigarettes.
It must be admitted, that the safety of electronic cigarettes as well as their total harm, are uncertain. However, they are likely substantially safer than tobacco cigarettes. At the same time, worse than complete quit smoking or quit vaping. Meanwhile, the long-term effects of e-cigarette use are unknown.
Moreover, representatives of a number of tobacco companies expressly state that the new regulation should promote the expansion of the turnover of these products, which can become a substitute for traditional cigarettes.
Well, this is exactly came from the Evil One. Tobacco companies, under colour of law, wish to inspire people on e-cigarette use for smoking cessation. Just one form of addiction will be replaced by another. Would it be better to refuse both?
At present regulation of tobacco varies across countries and states. Turkmenistan is one of the states that have reached significant progress on tobacco control.
The number of laws that significantly restrict the smoking of tobacco adopted in the country. Among them are law on banning smoking in public places, on production, import and distribution of tobacco – nasvay as well as law on protecting the health of citizens from the effects of tobacco smoke and the consequences of tobacco product consumption.
The Government of Turkmenistan expects that all these measures will allow its territory to be declared a zone free from tobacco by 2025.
