Friendship Cup Badminton Tournament kicks off in Ashgabat

Today, April 4, the junior “Friendship Cup” badminton tournament has started in Ashgabat.

The tournament is being held at the International School of Ashgabat (QSI) and brings together over 70 young athletes. Boys and girls in two age categories — under 14 and under 18 — are participating in the competition.

The event is organized with the participation of the Badminton Federation of Turkmenistan and aims to identify promising players as well as to promote this sport among youth.

Tomorrow, April 5, the final matches of the tournament will take place, after which the winners will be determined and awarded.
