6th CICPE to showcase over 3,400 brands from more than 60 countries, regions: official
The upcoming sixth China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) is set to showcase more than 3,400 brands from more than 60 countries and regions across the world, Sheng Qiuping, vice commerce minister, said at a press conference in Beijing on Monday.
Jointly hosted by China's Ministry of Commerce and the Hainan Provincial People's Government, the expo marks the first edition of the event since the Hainan Free Trade Port fully launched island-wide special customs operations. Canada will be the guest of honor at this year's expo.
"The sixth CICPE is scheduled to take place in Hainan Province from April 13 to 18. Over 3,400 brands from more than 60 countries and regions will be showcased at the expo, with international exhibits accounting for 65 percent, an increase of 20 percentage points compared to that of last year," Sheng said.
The six edition of CICPE will feature global consumer brands, he said.
"Canada, the guest country of honor, will set up a 400-square-meter national pavilion and organize nearly 40 Canadian enterprises to participate. The exhibits will cover cosmetics, agricultural products, health care products, and pet food. Twelve countries and regions, including Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Ireland, will organize official delegations to participate in the exhibition. Countries such as Russia and Bulgaria will set up national pavilions for the first time," Sheng said.
The main venue for this year's event will continue to be the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. The expo will feature two dedicated sub-venues: an international yacht exhibition area in Sanya, and an international health consumption exhibition area in the Bo'ao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone.
The CICPE is China's first national-level exhibition dedicated to premium consumer goods and the largest of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region.
Hainan officially launched island-wide special customs operations on December 18, 2025.
