Turkmenistan Has Confirmed Its Participation in the World Expo 2030 in Riyadh

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Muhammetgeldi Ayazov, held talks with Mohammed bin Garad, Director of the International Participants Department for "Expo 2030 Riyadh," who oversees cooperation with the Turkmen side.
During the meeting, the Saudi side expressed its appreciation to Turkmenistan for being among the first countries to officially confirm its participation in this major global event. The two sides discussed the logistics and technical aspects of establishing the Turkmen pavilion and reached an agreement to hold an official signing ceremony for the agreement regarding the state’s participation in the international project.

The central theme of the exhibition, scheduled to take place between October 2030 and March 2031, is "The Era of Change: Together for a Forward-Looking Tomorrow." For Ashgabat, integration into "Expo 2030 Riyadh" represents a strategic move to strengthen international economic ties, attract direct investment, and gain access to new markets in the Middle East.
The international forum in Riyadh will provide Turkmenistan with a high-tech platform to showcase key national achievements—ranging from projects in green energy, digital logistics, and eco-friendly urban planning to the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Participation in this Saudi-hosted event will serve as a logical continuation of the nation’s systematic engagement at major global exhibitions—such as those held in Milan, Astana, Dubai, and Osaka—further cementing Turkmenistan’s status as a reliable economic partner and an active participant in the global dialogue on sustainable development.
