Digital future: Oil and Gas University students explore AI and startup opportunities
An open lecture dedicated to the most relevant trends of the digital economy was held at Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University. The meeting titled “Digital Future: Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Assets, and Startup Opportunities” brought together students interested in developing innovative thinking and IT skills. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The main speaker of the event was Haknazar Haljanov, Director of the Döwletli nesibe company and coordinator of the Young Entrepreneurs Center. In his speech, the expert explained in detail how artificial intelligence is transforming modern industries and why digital literacy has become a mandatory requirement for professional success.
Special attention was given to virtual assets and their role in the modern economy. Students learned about practical steps for creating startup projects and mechanisms supporting youth business initiatives in Turkmenistan. Experts emphasized that the modern digital environment offers unique conditions for implementing innovative ideas, turning educational projects into real businesses.
The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan together with the university, specialized centers of the Ashgabat committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, and the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly. Such events help young people not only gain theoretical knowledge but also find practical ways to realize themselves in the field of high technologies.
