The holy month of Ramadan is ongoing in Turkmenistan. During this period, the national telecommunications operator Tmcell (“Altyn Asyr”) offers its subscribers a free service called “Oraza.” With this service, users can quickly find out the time of suhoor and iftar.

The service provides up-to-date information on the beginning and end of the fast, taking into account the subscriber’s region of residence. To use it, simply dial the designated USSD command on a mobile phone.

Codes to receive information:

*0870*1# for Ahal region and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag

*0870*2# for Balkan region

*0870*3# for Dashoguz region

*0870*4# for Mary region

*0870*5# for Lebap region

The service is provided free of charge to all company subscribers throughout the month of Ramadan. It enables believers to receive accurate suhoor and iftar times in a timely manner and observe the fast according to the established schedule.
