Record year for AD Ports Group: Revenue grows 20% driven by AI and new ports

Abu Dhabi-based logistics giant, AD Ports Group, has reported the highest financial results in its history. For the full year 2025, the company's revenue jumped by 20%, reaching AED 20.8 billion (approximately $5.6 billion). This success reinforces the UAE's status as a key hub for global trade.
The past year was significant for the group not only because of its turnover but also due to profit growth. Net profit increased by 17%, reaching AED 2.1 billion.
A key achievement was generating positive free cash flow for the first time since 2022. For investors, this is a clear signal: the company is not only generating substantial revenue but also managing its finances efficiently, surpassing its own growth forecasts.
The growth was driven by several key segments:
· Ports: Container handling volume grew by 23%. Khalifa Port played a particularly significant role, demonstrating high utilization rates in its first year of operation.
· Economic Zones (KEZAD): Demand for industrial land and warehouses in Abu Dhabi remained consistently high. The group successfully implemented its strategy of selling and leasing plots, securing major deals with Mira Developments and other international players.
· Maritime Services: The company's fleet more than doubled, from 28 to 60 vessels, allowing it to expand its shipping routes from India to Europe.
In 2025, AD Ports Group placed a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence. The implementation of agentic AI into operational processes enabled faster cargo handling and optimized logistics.
In 2026, the company plans to focus on strengthening transport corridors between the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa.
