Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Departs on Visit to the United States
On Monday, February16, the visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the United States of America began.
According to Turkmen state television, early in the morning the National Leader departed from the capital’s international airport for the United States.
The official statement notes that the visit is intended to open a new chapter in the history of bilateral partnership. Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States has traditionally been based on the principles of equality and mutual respect and currently covers a wide range of areas, including industry and agriculture, with active participation from major American companies.
The growing momentum of relations between business communities in both countries confirms significant potential for expanding investment cooperation. The official source emphasised that the visit of the National Leader will be one of the key events of the year and will create conditions for the further development of constructive interstate dialogue.
