Turkmenistan's Ambassador discusses issues of developing inter-parliamentary dialogue in Qatar
On February 15, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Qatar, Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov, met with Ahmed bin Hitmi Al Hitmi, the Qatari representative of the Turkmenistan-Qatar Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Qatar Shura Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador noted that 2026 will be designated the Year of “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan - Homeland of Purposeful Heavenly Horses” in Turkmenistan, and that international events and scientific conferences will be held in honor of the 35th anniversary of our country's independence.
In addition, the development of bilateral inter-parliamentary dialogue and the activation of cooperation strategies in the legislative activities of the countries were also discussed.
