Turkmen servicemen celebrated the Day of Defenders of Fatherland
The Day of Defenders of Fatherland and the 26th Anniversary of setting up of the National Army celebrated in Turkmenistan on January 27.
Since the establishment of the statehood of Turkmenistan, our courageous soldiers have become a stronghold of the inviolability of the country's borders, its independence and the peaceful life of the people.
The military doctrine of Turkmenistan, which is exclusively defensive, is aimed at ensuring the comprehensive security of the country. Our army has modern weapons, advanced technological equipment; high-quality ground, air and sea transport, and Turkmen soldiers are serving according to the progressive standards of military affairs.
The importance of today's holiday was underscored by thematic celebrations that took place in different parts of the country. The Central House of Officers in Ashgabat hosted a big concert with popular performers and military music bands.
Famous artists congratulated the military personnel on performance of patriotic songs, and creative military groups pleased spectators with musical and theatrical performances.
There is an exhibition dedicated to the development of Turkmenistan through the prism of the achievements of the national army, and which included unique exhibits from the museum of the Central House of Officers was launched before the entrance to the concert hall.
