In Turkmenistan, winners of international competitions were presented with cars and cash prizes
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov recognized schoolchildren, students, athletes, and their mentors for high achievements in international subject Olympiads and world-class competitions. This was reported by TDH.
The official awards ceremony took place in the Olympic Village of Ashgabat. In accordance with the decrees of the Head of State, athletes who won gold medals at world competitions, as well as their coaches, received 2025 model year Toyota Camry HEV 2.5L passenger cars as encouragement.
Winners who took second place were awarded cash prizes of 70,000 manats.
Bronze medal winners received cash prizes of 40,000 manats.
Coaches who prepared the medalists of international tournaments received cash rewards of up to 70,000 manats.
Cash incentives were also provided for pupils and students who achieved high results in international subject Olympiads. The size of the prizes ranged from 40,000 to 100,000 manats, depending on the achieved results. Educators who prepared the winners and medalists were honored with prizes of 100,000 manats.
