Azerbaijan Reports Stable Tourist Flow from Turkmenistan in 2025

According to the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan, 26,887 tourists from Turkmenistan visited the country between January and October 2025.

Among Central Asian states, Turkmenistan ranks third in the number of arrivals, behind only Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Interest in Azerbaijan from the region continues to grow. In the first ten months of 2025, a total of 183,208 tourists from Central Asia visited the country. The dynamics are as follows:

• Kazakhstan — 87,804 tourists

• Uzbekistan — 50,971

• Turkmenistan — 26,887

• Kyrgyzstan — 9,422

• Tajikistan — 8,124
