Teachers of Turkmenistan Prepare for the Introduction of AI into Science and Education
Higher education institutions of Turkmenistan are actively adopting tools of digital transformation. Professors of the country’s leading universities took part in an online webinar organized by the UNESCO-affiliated International Centre for Higher Education Innovation (UNESCO-ICHEI).
The key theme of the event was “Unleashing the Potential of Generative AI in Teaching and Learning.” A speaker from India, Kaushal Kumar Bhagat, presented concrete examples and innovative approaches to working with artificial intelligence for Turkmen educators.
The main focus was on practical benefits: effective lesson planning, creative content development, implementation of personalized learning, and modernization of student assessment systems through AI.
The webinar sparked strong interest among Turkmen teachers. During discussions and exchanges, the participants received detailed insights into international experience and the prospects of integrating digital technologies. Special attention was given to the use of AI not only in the educational process but also in scientific and academic fields as well as production, reflecting the country’s commitment to deep technological integration.
