Talks in Rome: New Steps to Strengthen Turkmen–Italian Partnership
On 25 November 2025, as part of the visit of the Turkmen delegation to the Italian Republic, a series of meetings was held with representatives of Italy’s governmental and scientific institutions.
The delegation held negotiations with Claudio Parisi Presicce, Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage of Rome, Senator of the Standing Committee on Education and Cultural Heritage Francesco Verducci, as well as Dr. Gianluigi Consoli, First Deputy Minister for Science and Innovation of the Ministry of Universities and Research of Italy.
During the meetings, the parties discussed prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation within international organizations, as well as expanding collaboration in political-diplomatic, scientific-cultural, and trade-economic spheres. Special attention was paid to the areas in which agreements had previously been reached between the leaders of the two countries during the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Italy in October of this year.
The parties expressed mutual interest in further developing the partnership, expanding scientific exchange, implementing joint cultural projects, and strengthening cooperation in education and innovation.
The Turkmen delegation emphasized its readiness to continue constructive dialogue aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and implementing joint initiatives.
