Global Tablet Sales Declined in the Third Quarter
November 25, 2025 | 12:30 |4876

According to IDC, global tablet sales decreased by 4.4% in the third quarter of 2025, reaching 38 million units. The report notes that after six consecutive quarters of growth, the market has begun to show signs of cooling. This is attributed to accumulated inventories, partly driven by concerns over a potential increase in U.S. import tariffs.
At the same time, demand in developing markets remains stable, supported by educational initiatives, government digitalization programs, and a wider range of affordable tablet models.
