Opponent of the Turkmen Team May Change Head Coach
The opponent of FC Arkadag in Group B of the AFC Champions League 2 may replace its head coach. According to the website stadion.uz, the Uzbek club Andijan is planning to dismiss its current head coach, Maksim Shatskikh, and appoint Samvel Babayan in his place.
According to the source, the club and the specialist have already reached a verbal agreement on all terms. However, there is still no exact information on when Babayan will be officially appointed as the team’s head coach.
During his coaching career, Samvel Babayan has led the Uzbekistan national team and has coached leading Uzbek clubs such as Pakhtakor and Navbahor.
It is worth noting that Andijan will face FC Arkadag on November 26 in the 5th round of the AFC Champions League 2. The match will take place in Uzbekistan.
