Parents are turning more frequently to artificial intelligence for guidance on issues related to child upbringing. This was reported by the “Futurism” portal, based on the results of research conducted in 2024.

Many parents use AI-powered chatbots not only to get advice about a child’s personality or health, but also as a form of entertainment. Some even ask ChatGPT to tell stories to their children.

According to data from 2023, about 30 percent of parents of schoolchildren have already begun using ChatGPT. Experts note that the number of such users continues to grow.

Pediatricians warn about risks associated with the shortcomings of artificial intelligence. Such chatbots may influence children or spread inaccurate information.

Specialists strongly advise avoiding the sharing of children’s personal data or health information with AI, as there is a risk of data exposure.

It is worth noting that earlier studies showed that people sometimes trust medical advice from AI more than recommendations from doctors.
