Congress in Tashkent Unites Countries of the Region Around a Shared Spiritual Heritage
A Turkmen delegation, led by the Minister of Culture, is participating in the international congress "Central Asia: Common Spiritual and Educational Heritage – Common Future," which is being held in Tashkent from November 13 to 15.
The opening ceremony took place at the Center for Islamic Civilization, where guests were given a detailed tour of the museum. The work then continued at breakout sessions with representatives of the ministries of culture and academies of sciences of the Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, as well as the heads of national museums, libraries, film agencies, writers' unions, and youth agencies.
The extensive congress program also includes exhibitions, cultural events, and presentations of scholarly publications. Guests will be presented with unique books by renowned authors from Central Asian countries, feature films and documentaries, and works by renowned artists. An important part of the cultural program is the Days of Central Asian Cinema.
The congress reaffirms the inviolability of historical ties and the shared spiritual heritage of the peoples of Central Asia. Such events serve as a solid foundation for strengthening the traditions of good-neighborliness and mutual understanding, paving the way for a common prosperous and humanitarianly rich future for the region.
