International University for the Humanities and Development Has Received a Certificate from Westminster University for English Language Studies
The International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD) of Turkmenistan has received a prestigious certificate from the University of Westminster (UK) within the framework of the AELLCA program (“Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia”).
The official award ceremony took place during the international scientific conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality.
The key event was held as part of a session themed “Sustainable Development Goals: Developing Quality Education and Human Capital through Teaching Methodology and Innovation.”
The certificate, confirming IUHD’s achievements in implementing modern teaching methods, was presented by Andrew Linn, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research at the University of Westminster.
Participants of the forum included:
• Chynar Rustemova, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO;
• Stephen Conlon, Ambassador of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland to Turkmenistan;
• Tao Zhang, Director of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education;
• As well as scholars, lecturers, and experts from Italy (Kent State University) and other countries.
In their welcoming remarks, conference participants emphasized the importance of digitalization and an individual approach to students for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Before the plenary sessions, guests visited an exhibition showcasing numerous diplomas, medals, and certificates won by IUHD students at international contests and olympiads.
These achievements vividly demonstrated the university’s success in advancing Turkmenistan’s national education system to the level of global standards.
