The President of Turkmenistan Signed Documents for the Construction of Three Major Hospitals

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a package of documents concerning the large-scale construction and commissioning of several new medical facilities. This step is aimed at improving the accessibility and quality of specialized care for citizens.
Specifically, according to documents presented by Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva at a government meeting on Wednesday, a 500-bed multidisciplinary hospital will be built in Ashgabat, a 400-bed Maternal and Child Health Center in Dashoguz, and a 300-bed multidisciplinary hospital in the Tejen district of the Akhal province.
Also, in honor of the professional holiday—Turkmenistan Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers' Day—the ceremonial opening of already completed facilities is planned: a modern Health Center in Ashgabat and a 300-bed Mary Velayat Tuberculosis Hospital.
The President particularly noted the systematic development of healthcare and signed documents awarding state awards to distinguished medical workers.
It was also announced that Ashgabat will host the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference "Healthcare, Education, and Sports in the Era of Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State."
