Emblem of the World Weightlifting Championship-2018 launched
The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) released the official logo of the World Championship-2018, which will be held in November in Ashgabat.
A key element of the emblem is a stylized human figure holding a barbell over the head, decorated with a carpet print.
As for the color performance, the rich green tones prevailing in the emblem demonstrate the brightness of the state flag, and the ornamented border of the human figure symbolizes the beautiful Turkmen carpet.
The logo was developed by Ashgabat-based design agency “Belli Creative Studio”.
"The goal was for the logo to be bright, easy to remember and to use bold while the rich colors enhance the visuals for an exciting sport event. It represents a strong spirit and willpower of Turkmen nation", says IWF’s message.
