On 15 September 2026, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, acting as the Secretariat of the Interagency Working Group on Trade Facilitation, received a comprehensive suite of IT equipment.

Acquired under the GIZ regional program "Trade Facilitation in Central Asia / Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor Capacity Development"—co-funded by the German Government and the European Union—the technical support aims to streamline national and regional trade initiatives along key logistics routes.
