WASHINGTON / ASHGABAT, September 27. /ORIENT News Agency/. On the occasion of Turkmenistan's 34th anniversary of independence, celebrated on September 27, the US State Department released an official statement by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The statement extended sincere congratulations to the people of Turkmenistan and reaffirmed Washington's strategic commitment to the bilateral partnership.

The statement emphasized that the United States "remains firmly committed to supporting the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Turkmenistan." This is a key geopolitical signal reaffirming Turkmenistan's role in ensuring stability in Central Asia.

Secretary Rubio emphasized joint efforts to advance shared interests and expand mutual economic growth.

The statement mentions two key platforms that form the foundation of cooperation: C5+1: This year, the United States and Turkmenistan celebrate a decade of promoting peace and prosperity through the C5+1 diplomatic platform (Central Asia and the United States);

B5+1: Economic cooperation is being advanced, in particular, through the B5+1 Business Forum, which aims to stimulate mutual economic growth.

"The United States looks forward to many years of fruitful and productive cooperation with Turkmenistan. I congratulate you on your Independence Day with all my heart," the US Secretary of State concluded his statement.
