The meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan will be held on September 19, 2025 in Ashgabat, in the Maslakhat Köşgi Palace. The corresponding resolution was signed by Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The decision on the next convocation of the highest representative body was made on August 20 at a meeting of the Presidium of the Khalk Maslakhaty. The document instructs the Khalk Maslakhaty of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat to submit lists of public representatives included in the body by September 1.
To prepare for the meeting, dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, an Organizing Committee was established and its composition was approved.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the upcoming meeting will be an important socio-political event, and expressed confidence in the active contribution of all its participants to the successful holding of the forum.
