The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation and the Ministry of Health Signed an Agreement
A meeting with Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship Oguljahan Atabayeva was held at the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan. During this meeting, an Agreement on Further Cooperation was signed.
The meeting, which took place in a businesslike atmosphere, emphasized the humane principles that guide the Charitable Foundation. Its activities are aimed at comprehensively strengthening the health of the younger generation of Turkmenistan, including complex operations and subsequent rehabilitation of sick children. This agreement between the Ministry and the Foundation creates new opportunities for systematic and effective assistance to the youngest citizens of the country.
Particular attention at the meeting was paid to the upcoming 30th anniversary of the adoption of the State Program "Saglyk" (Health), which plays a fundamental role in the development of Turkmen healthcare. This anniversary date will be a landmark event confirming Turkmenistan's continued commitment to the principles of universal healthcare.
Within the framework of the "Saglyk" program, modern health centers that meet the highest requirements of the World Health Organization (WHO) are being actively commissioned throughout the country, including the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag. Cooperation between the Ministry of Healthcare and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Foundation is an important element in the implementation and further development of this large-scale national strategy aimed at the well-being of the entire population.
