Youth team of Turkmenistan to perform at CAFA championship

The Youth Team of Turkmenistan (Under-15) will perform at the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Championship, which will be held in Tashkent on July 22-30. The opponents of the Turkmen team will be the national teams of: Uzbekistan, match on July 22; Iran, match on July 24; Tajikistan, match on July 26; Afghanistan, match on July 28; and Kyrgyzstan, match on July 30. Matches of the tournament, which will be held on a circular system in one cycle, will be played at three main stadiums of the Uzbek capital – the National Stadium, Lokomotiv and Pakhtakor. The team that scores a maximum point in an end will be the winner of the Championship. Recently, the CAFA Championship Under-16 ended in Tashkent, in which the host country won the championship. The Central Asian Football Association was founded in 2014 and consists of the national football federations of CAFA members: Turkmenistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
