From 15th to 21st January Moscow hosts an exhibition-fair "Tyubeteika", prepared by the organizers in the form of an oriental bazaar, where art crafts and national cuisine of the peoples of Central Asia are represented. The program of the event includes demonstrations of clothes with ethnic motives, blitz-lessons from oriental masters, film demonstrations, etc. In addition to the Central Asian countries, this year Azerbaijan and Dagestan joined the participants. Turkmen applied art is demonstrated to the audience by exquisite hand-made embroidery, carpets, as well as silver jewelry. "We hope that this event will help to reveal the richness of the distinctive cultures of the countries of Central Asia and the Caspian region, to demonstrate the diversity of folk art," noted one of the organizers Fatima Arifjanova.
