Iranian business intends to expand trade turnover


Within the framework of the 14th specialized exhibition of Iranian goods in Ashgabat, which will be held from 1st to 3rd March 2018, a business delegation from the Iranian province of North Khorasan will visit Turkmenistan, the Financial Tribune reports. Among the guests are the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city Bodjnurd Mohammad Samadi, large industrialists and representatives of the agro-industrial complex. The purpose of the visit is to discuss issues on strengthening trade between our countries and increasing the number of joint exhibitions held in neighboring countries. As Mr. Samadi noted, Iranian engineering, construction companies, representatives of the oil, gas and electric power industries are interested in cooperation with Turkmen colleagues. In 2017, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Iran was about $1 billion US. At the same time, the sides note that there are opportunities for significant increase in this indicator. The Iranian province of North Khorasan borders on the Akhal and Balkan regions of Turkmenistan.
