Chinese company HKC has achieved a significant breakthrough by introducing the world's first gaming monitor with an 800Hz refresh rate. This substantially surpasses the capabilities of current TN and OLED screens.

To achieve this unprecedented speed, HKC employed a novel display panel technology: FSA VA with miniLED backlighting and quantum dots.

The monitor features a 24.5-inch screen with a 1080p resolution, boasting a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a contrast ratio of 4000:1. It offers 10-bit color depth, a color accuracy of ΔE<1.5, and 1152 local dimming zones for profound blacks. The response time is an exceptionally low 0.5 ms.

Furthermore, the device supports Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and holds VESA DisplayHDR HDR1000 certification.

HKC is positioning this new product for demanding gamers and esports professionals. Information regarding availability and pricing has not yet been released.
