Xiaomi has officially launched a new budget tablet on the global market — the Redmi Pad 2, now the brand’s most affordable device featuring an 11-inch display. The new model offers a 90Hz refresh rate screen, support for the Redmi Smart Pen stylus, and TÜV-certified eye protection against flicker and blue light.

The Redmi Pad 2 is equipped with a 9,000 mAh battery, providing up to 19 hours of video playback or up to 22 hours of reading on a single charge. The device features an aluminum body, while the plastic bezels house four stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a USB-C port, a SIM slot with LTE support, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The tablet is powered by the energy-efficient 6nm MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor, capable of scoring over 400,000 points in AnTuTu benchmarks. Its performance is sufficient for browsing, office tasks, and casual gaming. The top configuration includes 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card.

The device runs on the new Xiaomi HyperOS 2 operating system. The tablet is priced under 15,000 rubles, making it the most affordable model in Xiaomi’s 2025 lineup.

Xiaomi is known for offering well-balanced devices with strong price-to-performance value. The brand’s tablets, including the popular Redmi and Xiaomi Pad models, have long been recognized as reliable solutions for education, work, and multimedia in the budget segment.
