Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Russia discussed upcoming contacts at SPIEF-2025
The Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and of Russia Sergey Lavrov discussed upcoming contacts at the SPIEF, which will be held in St. Petersburg next week. Also, during a telephone conversation on Thursday, June 12, topics of bilateral cooperation were touched upon.
"The parties discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as upcoming contacts "on the sidelines" of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and within the framework of a bilateral exchange of visits," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
It was also noted that Meredov warmly congratulated Lavrov on Russia Day.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held from June 18 to 21; this year it will be held for the 28th time. Representatives from more than 137 countries and territories are expected to participate.
