Ashgabat, May 26 | ORIENT. The Embassy of Georgia in Turkmenistan held a gala reception on the occasion of the country's Independence Day.

This important date, symbolizing the aspiration of the Georgian people for freedom and democracy, brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, as well as public organizations in Ashgabat.

The festive part was held in a warm and sincere atmosphere. The guests enjoyed national music, performances of famous Georgian songs, and treats - from aromatic khachapuri to exquisite Georgian wine.

All this became a real highlight of the evening, conveying the unique spirit of Georgian hospitality.

And how holidays are celebrated in Georgia itself, I was lucky enough to see in person.

It is always bright in Georgian style: crowded, with soul, with ringing songs, elegant toasts - sometimes wise, sometimes sly, but always coming from the heart.

The tables are bursting with treats, the glasses are full, there is laughter, music and genuine joy everywhere.

So how can one remain indifferent or sad on such a day?
