A delegation from the Council of Higher Education of Turkiye has arrived in Ashgabat
From May 21st to 24th, a delegation from the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey, headed by its Chairman Erol Özvar, will be in Ashgabat on a working visit.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss prospects for cooperation in the field of higher education.
A series of meetings are planned as part of the visit. In particular, a meeting will be held between the Turkish delegation and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, B. Orazdurdyeva. The Minister of Education of Turkmenistan will also participate in the negotiations. The discussion will focus on strengthening cooperation between the educational structures of the two countries.
Furthermore, meetings are scheduled with the leadership of the country's leading higher education institutions – Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the International University for the Humanities and Development, and the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azady.
The delegation's cultural program includes a visit to the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Carpet Museum. The guests will also familiarize themselves with the cultural heritage of Turkmenistan by visiting the historical and cultural reserve "Nisa".
The visit is expected to be an important step in the development of bilateral educational interaction.
