Formal information for citizens of Turkmenistan planning travel to the Republic of Korea
Turkmenistan Airlines hereby informs citizens of Turkmenistan and all foreign passengers intending to enter the Republic of Korea of the introduction of new requirements by the immigration service of the Republic of Korea. The relevant information has been published on the official website of the air carrier.
In accordance with the new regulations, every passenger intending to visit the Republic of Korea is obligated to complete an electronic arrival card no later than three days prior to their intended date of entry. For this purpose, the immigration service of the Republic of Korea has created a dedicated online portal, accessible at the following address: https://e-arrivalcard.go.kr.
This measure is being implemented with the aim of optimizing and expediting the passport control process at airports in the Republic of Korea.
It is recalled that Turkmenistan Airlines previously announced the launch of direct air service between the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, and the capital of the Republic of Korea, Seoul. The inaugural direct flight on this route is scheduled for July 14th of the current year.
Passengers planning to utilize the new Ashgabat-Seoul direct flight or any other flight to the Republic of Korea are advised to carefully review the new requirements of the immigration service and complete the electronic arrival card in a timely manner.
