Ilham Aliyev extends invitation to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for a visit to Azerbaijan
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has sent a letter to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, extending an invitation for him to visit Azerbaijan.
As reported by TDH, in his address, the head of Azerbaijan emphasized that the countries are bound by "ties of friendship and brotherhood, stemming from the will of the peoples, who are united by common roots, as well as moral and cultural values".
Ilham Aliyev particularly highlighted Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's personal contribution to the development of interstate relations and the strategic partnership between the two countries.
"The sustainable development of fraternal Turkmenistan and the growth of its international authority, thanks to your far-sighted and thoughtful policy, are a source of satisfaction" the message stated.
The President of Azerbaijan expressed confidence that the upcoming visit "will contribute to the further development of relations and the strengthening of cooperation between the countries".
