Solemn events continue in Turkmenistan, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. During these days, veterans are presented with gifts and bouquets of flowers on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. As part of these events, and at the initiative of the "Türkmenaragatnaşyk" Agency, congratulations were extended to veterans who have contributed to the development of the communications sector.

Specifically, congratulations and gifts were presented to Valentina Zherdeva, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War who worked for the postal service company "Türkmenpoçta" for many years. This year she turned 101 years old. Valentina Zherdeva is one of the women who fought on the fronts of the war and has been repeatedly honored with state awards. 1 During the meeting, the veteran expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for his attention and care, emphasizing that she is proud of the peace and stability in her native country. The heroic deeds of the defenders of the Fatherland and the mothers who contributed to the Victory serve as an example of patriotism, courage, resilience, and high moral values for the younger generation.
