An Exhibition of Turkmen Products Opens in Iranian Gurgen
Today, May 5th, an exhibition of goods manufactured in Turkmenistan has commenced in the city of Gurgen, within the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Over 50 Turkmen companies are participating in the exhibition, including Hasar, Täze aý, Balam, Owadan ülke, Bir kuwwat, Aýdyñ gijeler, Ýigit, Bars, and others.
The exposition showcases export-oriented products from key sectors of Turkmenistan's national economy. Specifically, it features goods from the textile, agricultural, and food industries, as well as products from other sectors possessing export potential.
Particular emphasis is placed on products manufactured by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, underscoring the contribution of the private sector to the country's export development.
Notably, among the diverse range of presented goods, a prominent position is held by the products of the Turkmenbashy Complex of Oil Refineries. High-quality petrochemical products manufactured at the Turkmenbashy Complex of Oil Refineries are exported to various destinations, namely Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The participation of the leading enterprise in the country's oil and gas industry highlights the diversified nature of Turkmenistan's export offerings.
The selection of the city of Gurgen as the venue for the exhibition is not coincidental. This city is located in the northern part of Iran and serves as an important economic and trade center with developed infrastructure and established connections with other regions of the country, as well as with Central Asian states. Turkmenistan's participation in this exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity to establish direct contacts between Turkmen manufacturers and Iranian partners, explore new sales markets, and attract potential investors.
The exhibition will continue its work until May 7th. It is worth noting that the organizer of the exhibition is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
