The new Balkanabat Airport will enable foreign airlines to make technical landings

The recently opened Balkanabat International Airport will allow various aircraft, particularly cargo planes of Russian airlines such as “Volga-Dnepr”, “Aviatrans”, and “Aviastar-TU”, to make technical landings.

This was reported by Vladislav Volzhanin, Director of Cargo Transportation at MaxFlight, in an interview with the newspaper “Turkmenistan”. According to Mr. Volzhanin, Turkmenistan's convenient geographical location creates favorable conditions for receiving flights from countries in Asia, Africa, and India. The new airport is particularly well-suited for performing technical stops.

It is worth noting that MaxFlight is an agent of the “Turkmenhowayollary” airline in the Russian Federation.
