Turkmenistan has secured the silver medal at the Ice Hockey World Championship

The national ice hockey team of Turkmenistan won the silver medal at the World Championship in Division III, Group A, which took place in Turkey from April 21st to 27th. This achievement also guarantees their promotion to a higher division for the upcoming season.

Throughout the tournament, the team of Turkmenistan demonstrated resilience and fighting spirit, ultimately accumulating 11 points. They secured a victory in overtime against South Africa in their final match.

Alongside Turkmenistan, the national team of Kyrgyzstan also earned promotion, while the team from Luxembourg will be relegated from Division III, Group A.
